How to find a player who played for both teams
Choose the first club, then the second club you want to connect.
Read the player’s name alongside the recorded years for each club. A shared career does not mean a direct transfer between the two clubs.
If you are learning a quiz answer, check the shared-player game rules too. This website is a reference snapshot, not the live match validator.
What does the finder cover?
The source archive contains 29,822 footballers and 210,745 career-spell records. The 98 clubs selected for this tool are only part of that archive. Loan and youth records merged into a parent club may appear in the results.
Year ranges are not proof of continuous first-team service or senior appearance counts. Read the data scope and correction policy before using a record as a historical claim.
What if a pairing has no result?
An unavailable pairing is not proof that nobody played for both clubs. It may be absent from this web snapshot. You can browse the published pairings or report a missing record with a supporting source.

Years show the first and last recorded season at that club. For players with two separate stints the range spans both.
