Where do the records come from?

The web archive uses a local snapshot built from Transfermarkt-based career data. Pages are generated from that snapshot, not a live Transfermarkt query. Source platform: Transfermarkt. Attribution does not imply a partnership or endorsement.

Archive scope

The current snapshot contains 29,822 footballers, 14,036 clubs and 210,745 career-spell records. These are not user, download or current-squad counts.

The web finder covers 98 selected clubs and 1,400 pairings. Pairs involving a Turkish club need at least 5 shared-player records for a page; other pairs need 12. These thresholds do not prove completeness. A missing name is not proof that a player never belonged to a club.

What does “recorded at both clubs” mean?

A player has career records for both clubs. Loans and academy records merged into the parent club may count. Results are not restricted to senior competitive appearances; appearances and match totals require separate primary-source verification.

Reading the year ranges

Years reflect recorded ranges. Separate spells at the same club may be represented by one broad window, which does not establish continuous service. Missing years stay blank. Two ranges meeting in the same year do not, by themselves, prove a direct transfer.

Freshness and corrections

The snapshot is not continuously refreshed. Recent transfers or corrections may be missing, and the app and web snapshots can differ. A page’s technical modification date is not a claim that every career record was reverified on that date.

To report an issue, email the page URL, player, club and, if possible, an official club announcement or player profile to info@crossoverfootball.com. Do not send passwords or payment information. Corrections require review; submissions are not applied automatically.
